Pipe support PRO series

This compact benchtop pipe support is designed for positioning, centring and manually rotating cylindrical workpieces (pipes, shafts, axles) during welding and assembly, fitter’s work and light mechanical operations. The device is optimised for installation on welding tables, workbenches and machine frames.

Design features
V-shaped bed: ensures the centring of pipes of various diameters, preventing lateral displacement of the workpiece during operation.

Bearing rollers: two pairs of independent hollow steel shafts fitted with SKF bearings minimise friction, allowing the operator to rotate the workpiece smoothly and effortlessly by hand. This is critical for producing high-quality, continuous circumferential welds.

Protective and decorative panels: the blue side panels protect the housing and act as stops, preventing the shafts from spontaneously popping out of their seats during operation.

Advantages of use in production
Versatile mounting: the 16/28 mm diameter holes in the base allow the steady rest to be quickly secured to welding tables using quick-release welding bolts or stop pins, or bolted to any workbench surface.
Improved weld quality: the ability to rotate the pipe continuously eliminates the need for frequent stops to reposition the workpiece, thereby minimising the number of defects in the weld.
Safety and stability: the rigid 10 mm steel base and secure roller mounting prevent heavy round bars from rolling away accidentally.
